What is the Numbers Game / Pick 4?
Rhode Island Pick 4 is most commonly known as the Numbers Game - but it follows the same standard rules as Pick 4 which is played in over 30 different states.
How to Play RI Pick 4?

What are the different play types?
There are a total of nine different play types in RI Pick 4. Some allow you to play three or two numbers instead of the usual four. Learn every play type on our

How many wager amounts are there?
You can bet either: $0.50, $1, $2 or $5 on your numbers coming up - the more you bet, the more you can win. This will determine how much your ticket costs.
How much can I win?
You can win as much as $25,000 if you play a straight play type with a $5 wager. There are loads of other prizes to be won - view all of them on our

You have 1 in 10,000 odds of winning the top prize in Pick 4. View our

When do draws take place?
There are two daily Rhode Island Pick 4 draws. The Midday draw takes place at 1:30 PM, Evening draws take place at 7:29 PM.
When do ticket sales close?
Ticket sales close for the Midday draw at 1:20 PM. They close for the Evening draw at 6:50 PM.
How old do I have to be to play?
You have to be at least 18 years old to play lottery games in Rhode Island.
How are winnings taxed?
In Rhode Island, for prizes over $600 you will receive a W-2G tax form. Prizes over $5,000 will be taxed at 24% for Federal taxes and 5.99% in State taxes.
How long do I have to claim my winnings?
You have exactly one year from the draw date to claim any lottery winnings in Rhode Island.
How do you claim prizes?
Claiming prizes of $599 or less can be claimed in person at any local lottery retailer. Prizes over $599 can be claimed at the lottery Headquarters at the following address:
